Jointly organized by the Chemistry Department at the Faculty of Science, Gharyan, and the Faculty's Research and Consulting Office, a workshop was held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, in the Faculty of Science Theater, under the title "Comparison between Traditional and Modern Methods of Student Evaluation." The workshop included a lecture given by Dr. Mabrouka Abdel Salam Rizk Allah (Faculty Member at the Faculty of Education - Gharyan), in which she touched on important topics in the educational process; such as: the concept of evaluation and assessment, and the differences between them,

And a comparison between traditional and modern evaluation methods. After the lecture, Dr. Mabrouka answered the attendees’ questions in detail, indicating solid knowledge, and discussed with them topics related to the workshop topic; such as: how to formulate exam questions, and the foundations on which this process is based. We hope that this workshop has achieved the desired goals. We also hope that this fruitful cooperation will be the beginning of ongoing cooperation between the Faculties of Science and Education, and will be the nucleus of broader and more comprehensive cooperation between the faculties of Gharyan University.
