The first meeting of the Editorial Board of the University of Gharyan Journal of Applied Sciences was held on Wednesday, 21 January 2026, at the Faculty of Science in Gharyan. During the meeting, a comprehensive action plan was discussed for the establishment and official launch of the journal in accordance with the requirements of the Libyan Journal Classification Committee (DOLJ).

The meeting aimed to ensure the foundation of a rigorous academic journal that meets recognized scholarly standards and promotes scientific research in the fields of applied sciences among faculty members and students.

This meeting represents an important step toward knowledge dissemination and the enhancement of research quality in Libya.
