✨ Faculty of Science, Gharyan University, Hosts Successful Workshop to Present and Explain the Strategic Plan 2025–2030 for Stakeholders ✨

On Thursday, 20 February 2025, at 11:00 AM, the Faculty of Science – Gharyan University organized an extensive workshop in the faculty’s main lecture hall to present and explain its Strategic Plan for 2025–2030, attended by a wide range of stakeholders.

The workshop brought together faculty members, students, alumni, as well as representatives from the civil society and local institutions, creating an interactive platform that reflected the faculty’s commitment to engaging all relevant parties in shaping its future direction.

The session began with a welcome speech by the Dean, emphasizing the importance of strategic planning as a key tool for achieving the faculty’s vision of academic excellence and community service. The Strategic Plan Committee then delivered a detailed presentation covering the faculty’s vision and mission, strategic goals, performance indicators, and proposed implementation plans.

Interactive discussion sessions followed, where participants actively exchanged ideas and provided feedback on the plan’s axes, highlighting the importance of enhancing applied programs, supporting scientific research, developing infrastructure, and expanding collaboration with the local community and alumni.

Participants stressed the importance of ongoing communication between the faculty and all stakeholders, highlighting the role of partnerships in enhancing education quality and extending the faculty’s community impact. They also emphasized activating academic advising mechanisms, improving practical training for students, and developing professional support programs for graduates.

In conclusion, the Dean of the Faculty thanked all participants for their valuable contributions and highlighted the faculty’s commitment to translating the feedback and recommendations into actionable steps during the implementation phase. Participants were encouraged to continue engaging with the executive committees and monitoring the plan to ensure its objectives are achieved.
