Workshop on e-learning
It was held this morning, Saturday, June 12, 2021 AD. At the College of Science, Gharyan, a workshop was held on e-learning, within the framework of introducing this modern and distinguished technology and the extent of its effectiveness in education.
The workshop activities began with a speech from Gharyan University delivered by Dr. Khamis Al-Mabrouk, Dean of the College of Medicine, then a speech from the College of Science delivered by Dr. Shuhoub Al-Ahmar, Deputy for Scientific Affairs at the College of Science. During their speeches, they welcomed the attendees and praised the efforts made by those in charge of preparing and implementing this event, reviewing the importance of paying attention to e-learning and what it can do. It saves effort, time and costs if it has a suitable infrastructure. We appreciate the role that the university has played and is playing in providing all the necessary equipment and human cadres.
During the workshop, many scientific papers were reviewed, initiated by Dr. Nasser Abu Rawi, entitled (Concepts of E-Learning).
Then Mr. Ayman Al-Mabrouk (e-learning tools).
Followed by the role of Dr. Omar Abu Dinah (scientific subject for e-learning).
Dr. Ayman Abu Gharara reviewed the experience of the Faculty of Human Medicine in Gharyan.
Dr. Abdul Salam Al-Nuwaisri reviewed the experience of the Faculty of Information Technology, University of Tripoli.
In conclusion, a group of faculty members spoke about their experience with distance education and its strengths and weaknesses. Some students’ opinions about it were also reviewed.
