University of Gharyan Announces a Specialized Scientific Seminar to Develop the Olive Oil Production Sector

As part of its strategy to enhance the role of scientific research and apply its outcomes to serve the industrial sector and community development, University of Gharyan announced its plan to hold a specialized interactive scientific seminar at the end of October.

This initiative will be distinguished as a result of the collaboration and agreement with Atlantis Consulting & Training Ltd., which will act as a strategic partner in such developmental programs.

The decision reflects the University’s recognition of Gharyan’s excellence in olive oil production, which meets high-quality standards, making it one of the most promising economic products in the region. This requires the integration of scientific and practical efforts to maximize its economic value, expand marketing opportunities, and promote sector development.

To ensure the success of this important event, the University assigned the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center, in close cooperation with the Faculty of Science, to fully prepare and coordinate the seminar. This joint committee will also establish regional partnerships with leading research and industrial institutions to leverage local and regional expertise and ensure actionable, practical recommendations.

This announcement was the main topic of discussion during the coordination meeting held this morning at the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Science, attended by:
