As part of the Department of Computer Science’s commitment to developing the programming skills of its faculty members and supporting their research activities, the Department recognizes Python as an essential tool in modern scientific research, enabling researchers to analyze data and develop artificial intelligence models.

Accordingly, the Department organized a workshop entitled “Introduction to Python Programming” on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Computer Science Laboratory No. 5.

The workshop was delivered by Mr. Ashraf Hadoud.

The workshop introduced participants to the Python programming language, its importance, and its various applications. It also covered fundamental programming concepts, including writing and executing simple programs, along with practical exercises that strengthened the participants’ hands-on understanding.

The workshop witnessed strong engagement from attendees, who expressed their appreciation for its academic content and delivery approach. The discussions and exchange of questions and ideas further enriched the session and contributed to achieving the workshop’s objectives.
