As part of its commitment to familiarizing graduate students with academic regulations and policies, the Director of the Graduate Studies Office at the Faculty organized an orientation meeting for the newly admitted students of this year, held on Saturday, 15 November 2025.

The meeting was attended by the Graduate Studies Coordinator of the Department of Botany and several faculty members. During the session, the regulations governing graduate studies were reviewed, academic and administrative procedures were explained, and students’ questions were answered to ensure a clear and productive start to their studies.

This inaugural meeting at the Faculty included the distribution of an orientation brochure and a Graduate Student Guide, providing a comprehensive reference to help students understand their rights, responsibilities, and the academic pathway of their programs.

The meeting reflects the Faculty’s ongoing efforts to support students and facilitate their integration into the academic environment, promoting the best opportunities for excellence and success.
