As part of its role in community and environmental service, and in strengthening engagement with pre-university educational institutions, the Faculty of Science - Gharyan welcomed a field visit from students of Al-Zawiya Al-Mushtaraka School. The visit was organized as a comprehensive introductory tour of the Faculty’s facilities and academic resources.

The program included an overview of the scientific departments, laboratories, and the Faculty library, in addition to the administrative offices. Students were given the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the university environment and its academic structure, contributing to a broader awareness of prospective scientific and professional pathways.

The delegation was received by the Dean of the Faculty, the Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs, the Head of the Quality Assurance Office, the Faculty Registrar, and the Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs. The visit was also attended by a representative from the University’s Library Administration Office, along with several department heads and administrative staff members, reflecting institutional collaboration and the Faculty’s commitment to supporting outreach and orientation initiatives.

During the visit, the Dean delivered a welcoming and guidance-oriented address, emphasizing the importance of academic ambition and early preparation for university life. The Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs also delivered an encouraging speech, urging students to demonstrate diligence and perseverance, and wishing them continued success.

The Dean personally led the introductory tour, providing a comprehensive presentation on the Faculty’s departments, academic programs, and the nature of university study, accompanied by the relevant administrative staff.

The visit was coordinated by the Office of Community and Environmental Service at the Faculty, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance social responsibility, strengthen cooperation with educational institutions, and support initiatives that guide students toward appropriate scientific pathways.
