Strengthening Academic and Research Partnership between the University of Gharyan and the Agricultural Research Center – Tripoli

As part of the University of Gharyan’s ongoing efforts to strengthen scientific cooperation and activate research partnerships with leading national institutions, and in line with the University’s vision of fostering knowledge exchange and practical integration, consultations and preparatory arrangements are continuing toward the signing of a cooperation agreement between the University of Gharyan, represented by the Faculty of Science – Gharyan, and the Agricultural Research Center – Tripoli.

The proposed agreement aims to establish a practical framework that supports applied research and opens broad opportunities for joint scientific development and innovation.

In this context, a coordination and working meeting was held to follow up on the drafting of the proposed agreement and discuss mechanisms for putting its provisions into practical effect. The meeting was attended by:

• The Director General of the Agricultural Research Center – Tripoli.
• Dr. Khaled Balaou, representing the Faculty of Science – Gharyan.

The discussions focused on establishing the legal and technical frameworks of the proposed agreement and identifying areas for joint scientific collaboration, particularly in academic and research expertise exchange, as well as the development of joint training and professional development programs.

Such cooperation is expected to support the educational and research processes and contribute effectively to developing innovative scientific solutions that serve the goals of sustainable development.
