On the Occasion of World Environment Day 🌱🌍

We, the Community and Environmental Service Office Team at the Faculty of Science – Gharyan, extend our warm greetings and take this opportunity to remind ourselves of our shared responsibility toward our planet.

Protecting the environment is not merely a slogan we promote; it is a set of daily practices and a collective awareness that begins on our university campus and extends to our community and our beloved city of Gharyan.

Every tree we plant, every drop of water we conserve, and every piece of plastic we choose to avoid can make a real difference in shaping a better future for generations to come.

“The Earth does not belong to us; we belong to the Earth. Let us protect our environment so that life may continue.”

As members of the Faculty of Science — faculty members, staff, and students — we can contribute by:

• Reducing plastic consumption within the Faculty.
• Protecting green spaces and maintaining a clean university campus.
• Raising environmental awareness and supporting scientific research that provides solutions to local environmental challenges.
• Using energy and water responsibly in laboratories, offices, and lecture halls.

Together… for a sustainable environment and a cleaner future. 🇱🇾
