In line with its commitment to promoting a culture of volunteerism and social responsibility, the Community Service and Environment Office at the Faculty of Science – Gharyan, in collaboration with the Student Union, organized Volunteer Day. The event saw active participation from students, faculty members, and administrative staff.

The initiative involved contributions from the Departments of Statistics, Chemistry, and Environmental Sciences and Natural Resources. Activities included collecting donations to support the tree-planting campaign, as well as distributing motivational cards to participants—an initiative that reflected a spirit of cooperation and belonging among the College community, with participation from preparatory-year students and various academic departments.

The event was held with the presence and support of the College administration, including the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, the Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs, the Registrar, the Head of the Research and Consultancy Department, the Librarian, the Director of the Community Service and Environment Office, the Head of the Statistics Department, the Head of the Environmental Sciences and Natural Resources Department, and the Acting Head of the Chemistry Department. Their presence underscores the College administration’s support for initiatives that serve the community and promote environmental values.

The Faculty of Science reaffirms its ongoing commitment to supporting and implementing purposeful volunteer initiatives that foster teamwork and social responsibility.
