Within the research activities of faculty members and students of the Department of Zoology, two new species of spiders were recorded in Libya (specifically the areas of Badartun and Al-Qahsat in the city of Gharyan) in two studies:

It was published in the Egyptian magazine SERKET The Arachnological Bulletin of the Middle East and North Africa and included:

a. Abdul Hamid Al-Triki and student Fatima Abdul Salam Al-Futaisi.

#And the second_research

It was published in the Libyan magazine AJAPAS and included: A. Hamida Khabish, and A. Abdul Hamid Al-Triki, and Dr. Hoda Al-Marimi from the Department of Zoology at the Faculty of Science, University of Tripoli, also participated in the two research.
