Gharyan College of Science participates in the first international conference on (Water in the Desert)

From 6-7 December 2023 in the city of Tozeur, Tunisia.

Mr. Dr. Mahmoud Ramadan Al-Sufi, Head of the Geology Department from Gharyan College of Science, participated in the work of the first international forum, “Water in the Desert,” in an attempt to diagnose the situation and provide solutions with the participation of university professors and research institutions.

This scientific meeting embodies the spirit of research and academic cooperation between Maghreb institutions to study and preserve it.

The conference aims to bring together experts and those interested in the fields of water and desert to exchange experiences, knowledge and innovative ideas.

It is noteworthy that a number of Libyan universities participated in this forum (Tripoli - Gharyan - Zintan - The Open University - Nalut - Al-Jufra - Sabha - Wadi Al-Shati).
