Within the framework of implementing the preparatory stage for scientific colleges in Libyan universities, today, Tuesday, October 15, 2024, the Gharyan College of Sciences at Gharyan University hosted an introductory forum for new students who have been accepted to study in the preparatory stage of medical and applied sciences.

 The conference was attended by: 

Mr. Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs at the University, Mr. Dean of the College of Science, Mr. Dean of the College of Human Medicine, Mr. Head of the Preparatory Stage and members of the Preparatory Stage Committee at the College, Director of the College’s Administrative and Financial Affairs Office, Director of the University’s Human Resources Development Office.

During which many welcoming speeches were given to the new students 

The Dean of the College gave his speech and welcomed the guests and new students 

Then there was a speech by Mr. Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs at the University and Dean of the College of Human Medicine 

Then Mr. Head of the Preliminary Stage gave a speech in which he welcomed the distinguished guests, students and parents and introduced the members of the Preliminary Stage Committee, each by name and capacity.Wishing everyone success.

He also presented: 

A. Nadia Al-Ruba, Head of the Department of Medical Sciences, and A. Samia Abadi, Head of the Applied Sciences Department, presented a visual presentation explaining the regulations governing the preliminary stage in Libyan universities issued by decision of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. 893 of 2022. The violations and disciplinary penalties stipulated in Chapter Two of the regulations were also clarified. 501 of 2010, the provisions of which apply to all Libyan university students.,Then the door was opened for discussion and dialogue with the students about these regulations and the study system, and all inquiries and observations received from the students were responded to by the Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs at the University, the Dean of the College of Human Medicine, and members of the Preliminary Stage Committee.

In conclusion, the President of the University’s Student Union gave his speech, wishing them good luck and success.
