Second Lecture in the Series: Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Research

With gratitude to Allah, and as part of the efforts of the Research and Consultancy Department in collaboration with the Community Service and Environment Office, the Faculty of Science – Gharyan organized today the second lecture in the series “Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Research” titled:

“Write Smart: AI for Mastering Academic Writing”,

presented by Dr. Intisar Nasr Abdel-Aty, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and a specialist in Artificial Intelligence.

The event witnessed distinguished attendance, including the Dean of the Faculty, the Director of the University International Cooperation Office, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, the Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the College, the Head of the Quality Department, the Head of the Research and Consultancy Department, representatives from the Faculty of Law, the Head of the Chemistry and Computer Science Departments, as well as several faculty members from the Faculty of Science – Gharyan, the Faculty of Accounting, the Faculty of Health Sciences, the Faculty of Arts/Mizdah, and the Faculty of Education/Gharyan. A select group of students interested in AI technologies for scientific research, teaching, and learning also participated.

The lecture addressed the role of Artificial Intelligence in supporting researchers and enhancing their capabilities in mastering academic writing, highlighting modern methods that help accelerate research stages and improve quality. The session featured constructive discussions and questions reflecting a growing awareness of the importance of employing AI in the research process.

In conclusion, we extend our sincere thanks to all who participated and contributed to the success of this scientific event, hoping that the Faculty continues to offer such initiatives that enrich knowledge and advance scientific research.
