🌿 Workshop: "Wetlands: Natural Resources for Environmental Sustainability"🌿 

On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, a workshop titled "Wetlands: Natural Resources for Environmental Sustainability" was organized by the Al-Barari Organization for Nature Conservation , in collaboration with the Community Service and Environment Office , the Department of Zoology at the Faculty of Science , and the Gharyan Environmental Affairs Office . 

During this significant scientific event, three specialized lectures were presented: 

1. The concept of wetlands and their environmental importance. 

2. The role of the Ramsar Convention in protecting wetlands. 

3. Biodiversity in wetlands. 

The workshop featured an interactive discussion session where participants exchanged ideas and experiences on the importance of wetlands in preserving the environment. 

This was a wonderful opportunity to enhance environmental awareness and highlight the vital role these areas play in sustaining the environment. 

We extend our gratitude to everyone who attended and participated in this valuable workshop. We hope this event contributes to spreading awareness and increasing interest in the protection of wetlands.
