Today, Thursday, July 24, 2025, the Faculty of Science – Gharyan concluded the practical workshop titled "Measuring pH and EC of Soil and Aqueous Solutions", organized by the Department of Environmental Science and Natural Resources as part of its training plan for the current academic year.

The workshop targeted students of the department and those interested in environmental analyses. It focused on hands-on practice using laboratory equipment to measure pH and electrical conductivity (EC), and exploring their relationship to water quality and soil health. The workshop was delivered by:

• Ms. Amani Abdelsalam Ali
• Mr. Ibrahim Ramadan Alsoufi

They provided a comprehensive scientific presentation accompanied by interactive practical experiments.

The workshop witnessed active participation from students and faculty members, fostering engaging discussions and knowledge exchange. Administrative support from the Dean’s Office and organization by the Department’s Quality Coordinator contributed significantly to the success of this activity.

This workshop reflects the Faculty of Science’s commitment to enhancing students’ practical and scientific skills, linking theoretical knowledge with field practices, and promoting academic and research excellence in environmental and agricultural development studies.
