A meeting of the Faculty of Science Council in Gharyan was held today, Monday الموافق 30/3/2026, to discuss the progress of the educational process and a number of academic and administrative matters, in a way that ensures improved performance and increased work efficiency within the faculty.

The meeting addressed the follow-up of the implementation of the study plan, the regularity of lectures, and the evaluation of the educational process in terms of quality and existing challenges. It also covered student conditions, levels of commitment and attendance, mechanisms of academic support, and the role of the academic advisor within the departments.

Administrative aspects and the daily workflow were also discussed, along with ways to develop institutional performance. In addition, the quality file was reviewed in detail, including the necessary preparations for program accreditation, and the extent of the faculty’s readiness to meet accreditation requirements and standards and improve performance indicators.

The meeting also included a review of laboratory conditions and equipment, and support for scientific research, with an emphasis on the importance of integration among all components of the educational process.

The meeting concluded with a set of recommendations and decisions aimed at enhancing discipline, improving the quality of outcomes, and ensuring continuous development within the faculty.
