Follow-Up Meeting to Complete Programmatic Accreditation Requirements at the Faculty of Science – Gharyan

As part of the ongoing series of meetings dedicated to following up on the requirements for programmatic accreditation, a coordination meeting was held today at the Faculty of Science – Gharyan to continue reviewing and completing the documents and files related to the academic departments, as part of the Faculty’s efforts to strengthen its readiness to apply for programmatic accreditation.

The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty and the Head of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Department, along with the heads and quality coordinators of the following academic departments:

• Department of Statistics
• Department of Physics
• Department of Environmental Science and Natural Resources
• Department of Computer Science
• Department of Mathematics

The meeting focused on reviewing the progress made in fulfilling accreditation requirements, examining the documents and supporting evidence prepared by the academic departments, and discussing observations and mechanisms for addressing and completing them. These efforts aim to ensure alignment with quality assurance and programmatic accreditation standards and to enhance the Faculty’s readiness for the upcoming stage.

This meeting reaffirms the Faculty of Science – Gharyan’s commitment to fostering a culture of quality and strengthening institutional teamwork based on cooperation and coordination among its academic departments, with the ultimate goal of fulfilling accreditation requirements and enhancing the quality of its academic programs and their outcomes.
