As part of the collaboration between university faculties, a workshop was organized on Monday, February 24, 2025 , titled:  

"Artificial Intelligence Tools in Scientific Research and Healthcare"  

The event was supervised and hosted by the Faculty of Health Sciences and took place at the Faculty of Engineering auditorium .  

During the workshop, two lectures were presented:  

The first lecture was delivered by Professor Samar Al-Tahir Al-Arabi , a faculty member in the Computer Science Department at the Faculty of Science – Gharyan. Her lecture, titled "Artificial Intelligence Tools in Scientific Research," highlighted the role of AI in advancing scientific research, how it can be leveraged for data analysis, and its effectiveness in extracting results efficiently.  

The second lecture was presented by Dr. Abdel-Halim Mustafa under the title "Artificial Intelligence Tools in Healthcare."His presentation focused on AI applications in improving healthcare quality, disease diagnosis, and medical data management.  

The workshop witnessed the attendance of several college deans, faculty members, researchers, and individuals interested in scientific research, contributing to enriching discussions and idea exchanges on the latest developments in the field.  

We extend our sincere appreciation to Professor Samar Al-Tahir Al-Arabi and Dr. Abdel-Halim Mustafa* for their valuable lectures and wish them continued success and excellence in their academic careers.
